How messy is your CRM data? A tour of CRMBix
Every Dynamics 365 system gets messy. Records go out of date, duplicates pile up, and changes reach production that nobody remembers approving. Most teams only find out when a report looks wrong or something breaks. CRMBix is a CRM data health check that runs inside the system you already use, so you can see where you stand.
Sample dataThe real app in 80 seconds, narrated.
Sound familiar?
- "Can we trust these numbers?" comes up in every reporting meeting.
- Nobody can say exactly what is installed in your environment, or which solution it belongs to.
- A form changed last week and nobody knows who agreed to it.
- The cleanup never starts, because nobody knows where to start.
One app, three questions
CRMBix Control Centre is one app inside your Dynamics 365 or Power Apps environment. It has three parts, and they share one Home page.
| Part | The question it answers | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Data Health | Is our CRM data fit to use? | A health score out of 100, rules that find missing, duplicate and out-of-date records, and a list of issues that each link to the record to fix |
| Inventory | What is in this environment? | Every solution, and every component of your own solutions, recorded again each day |
| Change Control | What changed, and was it agreed? | Change requests with approval, a record of each deployment, and a change log that flags any change no approved request covers |
CRMBix reads your records to check them. It never changes, moves or deletes your accounts, contacts or any other business record. It is installed in your own environment, and everything it records stays there.
Your first score in about 30 minutes
- Ask for a free trial. We email you the solution file, a 14-day licence key and the setup guide.
- Install it. Import the file into your environment from Power Apps. It takes 5 to 10 minutes, and you need the System Administrator role. The install guide shows each step.
- Follow the Welcome screen. It has five short steps: sign in to the connection, switch on the flows, paste in your key, pick your scan day, and choose Start setup.
- Open the dashboard. Setup adds up to 20 ready-made health rules, takes the first inventory and runs the first scan, so a score is on its way.
Allow about 30 minutes in a typical environment. The first inventory and scan run in the background, and a large environment takes longer: up to an hour for the first scan. You can use CRMBix while it runs.
Reading the Home page
- Health score. The score from the last full scan, with a trend line of the last 12 scans. Move the mouse along the line to see each one.
- Needs attention. Failing rules, changes with no approved request, and requests waiting for approval. Each line opens the list behind it.
- Data Health, Inventory and Change Control. The headline figures for each part, with links to every list.
- Three buttons. Run a scan, Refresh inventory and New change request sit at the top right.
Not ready to install anything yet?
Take the self-assessment. It asks eight questions and takes about two minutes. You get a score for data health, inventory and change control, and a first step you can take today. There is no sign-up, and it does not connect to your environment.
